Abstract:

Eye Mouse is a real time eye tracking system that will control a computer cursor by following the user’s gaze. It’s doesn’t depend on the user’s upper limbs. The cursor will actively follow the user’s gaze. This tracking will be achieved via a small form factor camera mounted near the user’s face, which communicates image data to a computer system. The computer system processes the image and determines the behavior of the user’s gaze.

By achieving that:

1- Eye Mouse will help handicapped and elderly people to use computers with totally hands free; this tracking system will act as a replacement for current computer regular mouse.

2- Eye Mouse will replace current old computer mouse with a fast, efficient and reliable one. To keep up with the rapid technology developments in other computer parts.

3-Eye Mouse will satisfy upcoming customer needs such as:

• Faster and efficient use of computers.
• Gamers need more interactive playing techniques.
• Eye Mouse will ensure full hands-free computer control.

I am glad to announce that we have a working release of Eye Mouse.

Eye Mouse is a real time tracking software that controls the computer mouse cursor by following the user’s gaze.

Use your head slightly to move the mouse.

Blink with your left eye for right click and with your right eye for left click.

Look at the edges of the screen to enable mouse scrolling at this direction.

Eye Mouse is under testing and still requires more modifications.

To start tracking simply press the start button.

To enable Mouse move simply check Mouse move at the settings window.

To calibrate mouse position simply press the Left Shift button.

To enable mouse scrolling simply check mouse scrolling at the settings window.

To adjust mouse scrolling sensitivity use the sensitivity track bar at the settings window.

To enable mouse clicking just choose one of the three methods available at the settings window.

   I just figured out a bug..
   Your application won’t close when u press the “X” of the main form
   It keeps running having the other eye form opening and won’t close neither..

   Otherwise great work guys (Y) I just need to know ur progress in Imagine Cup??
